At VI Technologies, we are all about smart test and measurement solutions built with LabVIEW and related tools. But we believe that the people around us are just as important: students, developers, customers, and colleagues in the community. That is why we invest time, knowledge, and budget in several sponsorships that really add value – for the next generation of engineers and for our field.
Listed below are a few collaborations we are proud of.
Team DARE: building rockets with TU Delft
Team DARE is a student team from Delft University of Technology that builds rockets for international competitions. We support them with LabVIEW knowledge and tooling for data acquisition and monitoring, so that they can rely on their measurement systems during tests and launches.
Fun fact: our mascot Vicky, the pink VI Technologies duck, has been given a place in one of their rockets. A light-hearted nod that perfectly sums up what we stand for: serious about technology, but not without fun.
For us, this sponsorship is primarily an investment in young talent. Students gain real practical experience, and we help to further strengthen the Dutch high-tech world.
DutLUG: home of the Dutch LabVIEW community
We have been the initiator and organiser of the Dutch LabVIEW User Group (#DutLUG) from the very beginning. Four times a year, we organise meetings at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven: free of charge, with strong content and always with room for open discussion and questions. And yes, with hamburgers and chips served beforehand – traditions must be cherished.
DutLUG is the place where Dutch LabVIEW developers meet, exchange ideas and help each other. By sponsoring and organising these meetings, we ensure good content, great locations and a community that continues to grow.

GDevCon: world-class graphical programming
LabVIEW knows no boundaries, and neither do we. That's why we have been a proud sponsor of the Graphical Developer Conference (GDevCon) since GDevCon #2 – and, of course, we have attended every edition to date.
GDevCon is a highly content-rich, independent conference for graphical programmers, featuring talks, discussions and plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas with developers from all over Europe and beyond. The sessions can be viewed later on YouTube, which only increases the impact of the conference.
This sponsorship is a perfect fit for us: it keeps us connected to the international community and brings us ideas that we can incorporate into our projects.
